Fall is the perfect time to take some time to enjoy, first-hand, the beautiful sites the Great Northeast has to offer. And you don’t have to go far…
#3 – Dam, we’re heading to Gilboa!
Out of Albany get on Route 32 (South). Stay on Rt. 32 through Greenville and Freehold and begin to enjoy the splendor of the Catskill Mountains. Take a right on Route 32A (West) and continue on through Tannersville and Hunter until Rt. 32A meets-up with Route 23. Stay on Rt. 23 (North) to Grand Gorge. Take a right onto Route 30 (North) to Route 990V (East), which will take you over the Schoharie Creek into Gilboa. A short ride down the road stop at either Clarks or Nick’s Waterfall House – two great choices. Backtrack on 990V (West) to Rt. 30 (North), past Mine Kill State Park, following the Schoharie Creek. Stay on Rt. 30, past Middleburgh and through Schoharie until you meet-up with I-88. Cruise on home with fantastic stories from a memorable day.
And Remember: You’re Never Lost When You’re Riding Your Bike
